For 156 years scientists and s tudents have worked at TU Delft on the latest developments in the field of tec hnology. The main tasks of TU Delft are providing high level technical educati on and conducting advanced innovative research. The university employs more th an 5,000 staff members and has around 13,000 students. Approximately 10% of th e entire student population is composed of international students who represen t more than 50 nationalities. Many of the TU Delft alumni hold top-level posit ions in Dutch or international companies. 　　TU Delft has an excellent national and international reputation for the qu ality of its research programme and education programmes.
