Applicants should have a strong backgroun d in mechanics, physics, chemistry, and experimental skills. We are searching for candidates with a Master’s degree and strong motivation toward a PhD deg ree. Stipend is highly competitive. The graduate assistant will have access to a state-of-the-art nanoindenter fro m MTS Nano and an atomic force microscope from Agilent. Interested candidates should contact Dr. G.
