The current focus includes data management problems on emerging hardware (like GPU and flash memories) and in distributed environments like cloud. The group currently consists of over 10 members including Postdoc and Ph.D. students. We have two openings of Postdoc or Research Assistant (RA). Successful applications have the opportunities in working with the group. More information about the group: http://www.ntu.edu.sg/home/bshe/ Requirements include: 1) A degree (PhD for Postdoc; Master or Bachelor for RA) in Computer Science, or a closely related field from a recognized institution, with excellent results. 2) Excellent system building skills. 3) Proficiency in English writing and good communication skills. 4) Strong commitment to high quality research and development. Preferable Qualification 1) Previous research experience in systems (e.g., GPGPU and cloud). 2) Strong track publication record for Postdoc position 3) Self-motivated. For Postdoc/RA positions, the appointment can commence any time and will be initially for one year, with possibility for extension up to three years. Successful candidates will be offered a competitive salary and benefits based on their qualifications.
