The summer school particuarly addresses students at doctorate level from Asian countries. Organizers Michael Clausen, Armin B. Cremers - Department of Computer Science, University of Bonn in collaboration with Andreas Dress, Axel Mosig, Zhenbing Zeng - CAS-MPG Partner Institute for Compu tational Biology, Shanghai Requirements The summer school addresses students at advanced doctorate level or beyond with a background in either Computer Science, Mathematics, or Biology with an interest in Computational Biology. Participants should hold a Master of Science degree or equivalent qualification. A good command of English is a major prerequisite for participation. The organizers can supply full funding of travel (in general,train hard-seat ticket) and accommodation for participants from mainland China. For participants from outside China, we can contribute support for travel and accommodation expenses. If you want to participate, please follow the guidelines below - we are looking forward to welcoming you in Shanghai! 说是暑期课程，但貌似在10月份...
是和德意志学术交流中心共同举办一个面向亚洲学生的培训班，参训学生的吃住行（往返火车硬座票）全部免费
有兴趣的同学可以申请一下 Max-Planck的声誉在国际上可是很响的呵呵

This summer school aims to present the latest state-of-the-art in the fields of combinatorial, algebraic,
and statistical methods in pattern recognition as well as their applications in bioinformatics and biology
to students. The summer school particuarly addresses students at doctorate level from Asian countries.
